Cost: Usually significantly more unless you have really good insurance coverage.
Step 3: Download The App For Your Lab
*Special Considerations
Patient instructions:
-Early morning blood draws with at least 8 hours of fasting prior.
-Subsequent blood draws should be around the same time.
-Draws should be before medications in the morning. Water is ok.
-Hold biotin supplements 72 hours before draws.
-Female hormones try to draw labs on days 14-28.
-If you are concerned about low blood sugar, take a juice box to the lab to be consumed immediately after drawing.
